Bill Bailey is an actor, presenter, musician, and comedian. His live performances of Larks in Transit, Qualmpeddler, Limboland, and The Remarkable Guide to the Orchestra are arguably the reason he is most well-known. His television work can be seen in shows like Black Books, QI, and Never Mind the Buzzcocks. In addition, he is the author of two books: Bill Bailey's Remarkable Guides to Happiness and British Birds. Along with a small menagerie of humans and animals, he resides in West London.

Bailey takes us on an exploration of the British Isles, focusing on the birds that most inspire him. He introduces us to these weird and wonderful birds in a way that is always entertaining. These birds are always fascinating, whether it's what they eat, where they fly to, or how they communicate. This companion book is essential if you're a parent who wants to look a little smarter when your kid asks you what kind of bird to name, if you're looking for a new, healthy outdoor hobby, or if you just want to laugh while learning a little bit more about our natural surroundings.
